Huaqiao University U.S. Alumni Association was first founded at 2015 and was officially registered as a nonprofit organization in New Jersey on February 7, 2015. There are more than 170 alumni members, Li Qi and Cai Yizhi from the Department of Chemistry were elected as the first president and chairman of the board of directors.The Alumni Association aims to contact alumni who have settled in the United States, enhance friendship between alumni, strengthen close contact with alma mater, and interact with alma mater to promote alma mater with foreign educational and cultural exchanges. According to the constitution of the Association, the Alumni Association is a nonprofit public welfare and educational organization.Alumni activities do not involve political campaigns that promote or influence government legislation or public candidates. All income donations for the construction of the Alumni Association will be eligible for tax exemption.Those who have a fixed mailing address in the United States and meet one of the following conditions may become a member of the US Alumni Association of Huaqiao University: (1) Graduates, tidbits, trainees, adult education, international students who have studied at Huaqiao University As well as other forms of learning students. (2) served as an instructor at Huaqiao University, including part-time teachers, eminent professors, visiting professors, visiting scholars etc.New alumni can register online into the Association. Members can learn about the News of the association and Alma mater through the website. In addition, the website will also have a message board and alumni forum for alumni to communicate with each other. The Alumni Association organizes regional networking activities from time to time, such as New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other major cities.
