Hunger and Malnutrition Relief Fund Foundation (HMRFF) is a non-profit & charitable organization dedicated to catalyze the movement to end Hunger and ensure food security. To reach this end, HMRFF utilizes the power of education, communications, training, advocacy, campaigning, raising public awareness and the media to try and advance the movement to end Hunger. HMRFF supports the Sustainable Development Goal 2 - that seeks to ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture. HMRFF is registered as public trust under the Indian Trust Act 1882. It will focus on building a movement for significant change through these two ways:• Advocacy & CampaigningEmpowers community leaders with the tools to have a positive impact in response to Malnutrition and Hunger. Campaigning for government, business and consumer action that will stimulate creativity and innovation, propel important systemic change and meaningfully engage young people in food security.• Awareness and resource mobilizationAwareness and fundraising events are effective form of gaining support for our vision and raising resources for a cause by involving popular international musicians; actors and entertainers; and other kinds of influencing figures and having large media coverage. Vision: To play a vibrant role in the national endeavour of developing rural India through technological transformation and market led development; and participating in addressing policy, financial, development, market, technology, resource and capacity building related needs for end hunger and food security, farm profitability and sustainability of our agriculture.
