Hungry Dabba was founded in August 2014; We started out with pop-ups in and around South-east London to understand whether there was a gap for Sri Lankan culinary finesse; the reception was overwhelming, which meant the only way was forward. The real breakthrough came with a lunch time pop-up in Oval, for desk based office workers The appreciation and demand for our unique niche cuisine was a quick hit. We pushed forward with trials with service-based offices around London, and in return built a base of Hungry customers seeking more of what Hungry Dabba had to offer. In the current phase of our journey, with extensive research, we have decided to move our food from 'hot and fresh' to 'chilled and healthy', allowing everyone to marvel at their dishes within their own time. Fresh and authentic readymade Sri Lankan food packaged in tier boxes of surprises with a healthy mindset. Non-greasy, no added preservatives, lactose free with signature in-house spices.
