icaretoshare foundation offers (ex-)cancer patients a closed online place for contact with each other, information about products and services and for sharing information with science.Scientific national research in the Netherlands shows that the post-cancer community is insufficiently supported. After the disease is sufficiently in remission according to the applicable guidelines, a visit to oncologists will stop. Other help around oncology will therefore stop and the GP is there for help with well-being. There is a lot of information to be found, online and offline, about cancer and especially the treatment phase, but there is less about life afterwards and there is no overview. icaretoshare is here to support life afterwards.
