IdeaEncore Network, (www.IdeaEncore.com), is an online peer-to-peer resource center where nonprofits and those who support them share, sell and buy all types and forms of practical knowledge and innovative materials including: ready-to-use tools, templates, training content, policies, and operational program materials of all types. With more than 1,000 resources available, individuals and groups are adding new resources all the time. Our crowdsourcing approach to gathering reusable knowledge means both experts and every day nonprofit professionals are invited to share their good practice and tools . Characteristics: • All users can browse all resources without creating an account. • When (and only if) resources are purchased, IdeaEncore retains a transaction fee then sends seller the balance. • Eachitem shows how many times it has been viewed and then downloaded (or not). • All free resources are licensed under Creative Commons (www.creativecommons.org) to explicitly encourage legal sharing and re-use. Groups from over 100 different countries, primarily U.S. and Canada, come to IdeaEncore to learn, share and/or expand their programs. Hundreds of groups visit the site and download materials each day. Items. Our partners provide links to our resources in their eNewslettes and use IdeaEncore as their library for their customers. With our outreach and that of our partners, we reach about 350,000 nonprofits a month.
