IGNITE at GW is a college chapter of IGNITE. IGNITE builds political ambition in young women in their own communities. We providecivic education, exposure to women in political leadership, hands-on-training and work opportunities, and a peer network of women who support and nurture each other's aspirations to become the next generation of civic and political leaders. We are nonpartisan. Our mission is to empower young women to become civically active leaders who ultimately pursue positions of leadership in the future.IGNITE's National vision is to build a movement of young women across the United States who are civically engaged, respond to issues, and who ultimately pursue elective office.
