Mental Health Care - London, England, United Kingdom
Implemental is an expert organisation that helps its clients develop and improve services and support for people who have mental health problems. This includes promoting good mental health and mental wellbeing. We work with governments, providers of health services and employers in the public, private and voluntary sectors in many different countries. Our services are provided by mental health professionals and managers who have worked in some of the best NHS services in the UK, and specialist researchers, many of whom work at the world-renowned Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London (IoPPN). They share their skills and knowledge, and their experience of supporting the development of mental health policy and practice across the world. Implemental is a social enterprise and not-for-profit community interest company. We charge a fair rate for the work we do and use any surplus to develop free resources and support initiatives that aim to improve people's mental health and wellbeing. The organisation was previously known as Maudsley International and was first set up in 2007 by the IoPPN and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). This is an NHS organisation that provides a range of mental health services in the community and in hospitals, including the famous Maudsley and Bethlem Royal Hospitals.
