Optimal Animal Welfare and Focus on Alternatives, that's our motto.We are the Animal Welfare Body of Utrecht University and the University Medical Centre Utrecht. It is our purpose to structurally create optimal animal welfare for the animals used in experiments in our institutions. Central to this task is good science in combination with the 3Rs: Replacement, Reduction and Refinement.We work with researchers, biotechnicians, animal caretakers, managers and board members of Utrecht University and the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Together we create a culture of care.
