At the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors (IFEA), we are driven to create better outcomes for families, their businesses — and for their trusted business advisors. Our dedicated board provides insight and governance for our Family Enterprise Advisor Program and the FEA certification. Our passion is driven by our desire to keep families and their enterprises strong, and to improve the process and outcomes for advisors. With family enterprise creating over 50% of the annual GDP in Canada and 64% of the GDP in the United States of America, our work is now more vital than ever. That is why we created the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, a comprehensive standard of education and practices for the field of family enterprise advising. With FEA certified business family advisors, the family receives advice better suited to their personal and business needs. And FEA designated business advisors that have met the requirements for certification increasingly gain the trust — and business — of their business family clients.
