The Institute of Quantum Science and Technology of the University of Tehran was established with the aim of developing quantum science and technology on August 29, 2020.This institute, coincided with the appointment of the head of the institute by the order of the esteemed president of the university on December 10, 2020, using the capabilities and facilities of the University of Tehran in this field has started working with the aim of establishing international relations and cooperation with other universities in the country.In addition to supporting practical and product-oriented projects, one of the most important programs of this institute is the training of human resources specialized in the field of quantum science and technology to promote science and expand activities in this field. In this regard, it has programs to support master's theses, doctoral dissertations, postdoctoral projects, free training courses and seminars, which calls and related information can be viewed at iqst.ut.ac.ir .The main areas of interest of this institute for the promotion and development of quantum science and technology are quantum information and communication, quantum sensors and measurements, quantum simulation and computation, and quantum biology.
