A graduate of Ecole Chocolat in Vancouver, BC, Mona Newbauer continues to meet life's challenges with an open heart and keen eye. Always experimenting with new recipes and product ideas, this little jewel of a shop has expanded from its humble beginnings selling its famously delicious handmade truffles to a swet shop that offers such staples as espressos, lattes, Italian sodas, gelato, toffee, fudge, brittle, seafoam and much more. Busting out at the seams from its first little storefront to the current space the shop now occupies in the heart of this idyllic coastal town, all visitors and guests who stop by can't help but feel the contagious excitement that Mona and her shop exudes - her happiness for life, its mysteries (and discoveries along the way), as well as her unending devotion to offering the very best in handmade chocolates and sweets.
