Isotrace provides high quality stable isotope analysis for research, commercial and forensic purposes. Our team offers an analytical service to clients from academic and commercial research programmes, private industry, and government agencies, among others. Our in-house expertise spans environmental, food and criminal forensic investigations, as well as oceanographic, paleoclimatic, biogeochemical, botanical, and archaeological studies. We undertake analyses using Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) and specalise in measurements of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur isotopes form a range of sample matrices. We also have significant experience in analytical method development and undertake world-leading analysis following unique analytical approaches. We are equipped with eight isotope ratio mass spectrometers and a range of preparation devices including elemental analysers for bulk analysis, a gas chromatograph for compound specific analysis and a headspace peripheral. Our laboratory is equipped to handle samples in solid, liquid, and gaseous form, and deliver precise analytical data to our clients.
