Ideal Science and Technology Aiming Research Council, also known as ISTARC, the most promising, versatile and distinguished co-curricular activities club of Ideal School and College, began its inception in 2001, to promote the zeal of science among the students.‘Science in Creation, not Annihilation' holding this noble motto, a senior teacher of Ideal School and College, Md. Motahar Hossain, inaugurated the flag of ISTARC.Being the most renowned science club, ISTARC has a long tradition of encouraging its followers to discover their latent zeal for science. ISTARC gives the necessary guidelines and it's the pathfinder in [spreading] scientific awareness among the pupils. Science, with its own enigma, is expected to enlighten the heart of the students, being led by this glorious church of knowledge. We do culture the science and ignite the quest to know the unknown, touch and see the unseen.For the last few decades, ISTARC has turned into the most prominent institution to organize numerous science fairs, the ultimate platform which facilitates the demonstration of the science projects by the students. [These] fairs have inspired the students to a great extent to nourish their interest and quench the thirst to show their excellence. Besides, the various Olympiads and competitions have also brought the very best of the pupils and have provided the momentum to research for advanced knowledge, other than the plain bookish knowledge.ISTARC is one of the very few members of MILSET ASIA from Bangladesh (incl. Ministry of Education, Bangladesh). ISTARC got its membership this year as a sign of its progression and its world-class standard quality in organizing science fairs since 2008. The organization's recognition has glorified the institution's name and presented ISTARC in front of the whole world and MILSET promises to be the global partner of the ISTARC Science and Technology Festival.
