it@cork Skillnet is an integral part of it@cork - a leading not-for-profit, independent organisation representing the Tech Sector predominantly in the Munster region. it@cork has a proud 20+ year track record of promoting and pioneering the development of the ICT sector. it@cork skillnet is co-funded through a Skillnet Ireland grant and company training contributions. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund, through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Innovation, Research and Science. it@cork skillnet is a learning network that supports and works with companies of all sizes in the Tech sector and beyond, to address current and future skills needs through provision of subsidised upskilling solutions.We cater for the full spectrum of IT domains and we partner with business to develop their talent programmes across these exciting and dynamic areas. We can help these enterprises drive all aspects of successful talent development; programme design, acquisition, funding, and evaluation.Our mission is to understand your training needs and match those needs with pertinent solutions and partners; supported and enabled by subsidised funding.Due to the pandemic, we are experiencing unprecedented levels of business change and technology disruption. We aim to support the competitiveness of our region by continuously bringing new and agile thinking to skills and talent development.As a proactive response to the impacts of Covid-19 we also launched, in 2020, a new up and cross-skilling programme for the unemployed (www.cyberquest.ie) and we see this type of programme as a priority for the next 2-3 years.
