Jay-B Jallah was an aspiring psychologist. He had a vision to help impoverished youths within his community, by becoming a school guidance counselor at the very high school he attended, Penn Wood High School. Jay-B spent all of his time bringing joy and laughter to all that he came in contact with, and never turned down an opportunity to help someone through any complications they were facing. He loved playing tennis, traveling to explore the world, hosting events that brought people together, and spending time with family. Unfortunately, Jay-B was born and battled with Lupus, a terminal illness that attacks the immune system. The disease progressively overcame him and kept him in the hospital most months throughout a single year. Those extended periods in the hospital amounted to a staggering amount of personal and medical debt that put a heavy strain on him and his family. Ultimately, he succumbed to his illness and passed on August 10th, 2020. Moved by his endearing strong fighting spirit to live every moment for the things and people that he loved, a group of his loved ones impacted by his loving soul, created the Jay-B Jallah Live for Love Foundation.
