Services: -Administration of compensation -Act as liaison to Third Party Administrator (TPA) for retirement and employee benefit plan(s) -Conduct onboarding of employees including preparation of offer letters, welcome packets and orientation for new employees -Assist with annual performance management and evaluations -Develop internal policies and documents -Oversee employee relations -Manage employee onboarding, needs assessment and training -Help oversee employee safety, wellness and health as required by California Labor Code -Consult with employment attorney for contractual needs, including employment agreements, company handbooks, confidentiality agreements, etc. -Consult attorney regarding immigration issues and necessary applications -Create computerized forms for daily use -Organize internal department and assist with planning needs -Maintain personnel files -Book Travel -Plan company events, activities, and retreats -Manage vendor accounts -Cut vender cost and optimize delivery expenses -Run payroll via QuickBooks or ADP -Send applicable participant information to Third Party Administrator and/or tax advisors for retirement plans (e.g., SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, 401(k) plan) -Manage employee timesheets -Track vacation, sick and paid time off accruals -Assist with recruiting and staffing needs -Interview potential employees -Oversee background checks
