The "Job Spot" is a multi-agency educational and employment resource for the future. Funded by the Adult Education Block Grant, the "Job Spot" was the creative vision of the Bakersfield Adult School Principal, Mark Wyatt, and his administrative team. Bakersfield Adult School currently serves over 14,000 adults, and the team designed the "Job Spot" to specifically serve the needs of our community. This new facility will provide information about local jobs and provide educational support and guidance from Bakersfield College. The "Job Spot" is equipped with access to technology, a conference room, and two skills labs.
