In that moment, in the midst of messy cable hell, he thought, "Is this really the best we can do?" and "Am I the only one with a secret loathing for all things that suck??"In true rebel fashion, Harp knew his answer. He felt it in his gut. So, instead of "letting sh*t go" and moving on, he decided to do something about the state of power strips in the world.He started by challenging the very idea of what a power strip should be. Why should it not be gorgeous? Why could it not be more user friendly? It could, and it would, and power strips would no longer have to suck again. In that shiny lightbulb moment, Joule was conceived to partner with creativity and inspiration, and look great doing it.That's the story of how Joule came to be. And that very idea of thinking outside the box, of leading change, is the essence of Joule and its products.
