When we find the courage to say f*ck this, and make our own rules.That's how Joule was born.One winter day in Toronto, Canada, our founder and CEO, Harp Ghoman, got into a fight with an extension cord. In that moment, in the midst of messy cable hell, he thought, "Is this really the best we can do?" and "Am I the only one with a secret loathing for all things that suck??"In true rebel fashion, Harp knew his answer. He felt it in his gut. So, instead of "letting sh*t go" and moving on, he decided to do something about the state of power strips in the world.He started by challenging the very idea of what a power strip should be. Why should it not be gorgeous? Why could it not be more user friendly? It could, and it would, and power strips would no longer have to suck again. In that shiny lightbulb moment, Joule was conceived to partner with creativity and inspiration, and look great doing it.That's the story of how Joule came to be.
