Journeys English is owned and run by Molly Jamila Bandeh, along with a handful of other freelance teachers. Our teachers work here because they see value in the lessons and they have the freedom to create the lessons that are most appropriate for the students. Many larger schools are forced to teach a curriculum handed down to them by people sitting in offices thousands of miles away. That is not what we believe in here, while we teach all the necessary concepts for a student to advance in the language we put a heavier emphasis on the language that students will need for real life communication with native speakers. Our teachers do not just teach you how to pass tests, we teach you the English you need to succeed abroad (and thus, also pass the test).
