Nonprofit Organization Management - Los Angeles, California, United States
Juggle The World (501c3) uses soccer as a vehicle to inspire positive social change in Inner Cities in the United States. Our mission is to use the game of soccer to create opportunities for undeserved youth while elevating their communities socially, economically, and culturally. Soccer is the fastest growing youth sport in the US and the lessons learned through playing the game are the same lessons you learn in life: leadership, teamwork, confidence, and commitment towards goals. While the lessons learned through sport can be crucial to a child's development, we find that many children cannot afford to play organized sports. We believe that economics should not be a factor for participation, and therefore are getting rid of the "pay-to-play" model of competitive club soccer for all of our 120 athletes. We aim to cover any and all expenses that are required to participate including Equipment, Coaching, Insurance, Travel, Registration, Field Fees, and provide Academic Services and Vocational Training for our athletes. When it comes to our Juggle The World Athletes, education is our goal and we use soccer as the teacher.
