Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore serves six counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and one county on Virginia's Eastern Shore. We empower students to own their economic success by teaching programs on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Our programs teach anything from the difference between a penny and a nickel (Kindergarten), how to write a check and keep a registry (3rd) to how to fill out a job application and interview (High School)! Our mission is to inspire youth to better prepare themselves for the workplace and life by providing high quality economic and financial literacy programs along with exposure to and coaching from members of the community and area businesses.
