Junior Citizens is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 2004 and formally registered in 2010 with the Department of Social Development in South Africa under the NPO Act 1997 and Formally constituted under the Companies Act as a Non-Profit Company. Currently funded by #RiseUpforGirls > Facilitate and Promote Women's rights issues and advance the welfare of the youth >Strengthen the capacity of community based women and youth in rural & social development to enhance quality of life> Through research and program development build & strengthen women and youth rights-based partnerships with key stakeholders>Develop strategies and/or adopt best practices that promote environmentally friendly societies with special focus on women and youth>Mobilize resources for women and youth development through research & partnership>Facilitate and promote equal and meaningful public participation programmes to strengthen a women and youth's rights culture in education
