Health, Wellness & Fitness - London, England, United Kingdom
KSL traded from April 2008 to March 2016 as a London-based social enterprise, formerly known as Knowledge Support Learning CIC. It was a not-for-private-profit limited company supporting public services, with a constitution that defined its UK community wellbeing and creativity purposes. It traded commercially; it is what it did with its surpluses that counted: It principally re-invested them to sustain the business and to invest in achieving its social and cultural objectives, rather than to provide any shareholder returns. Its Directors enjoyed working from the front or backstage with many associates and partner organisations in its specialist sectors, to obtain grant/tender funding or to enhance their own and supported service capabilities and reputations."We were a small enterprise serving many people and bodies in the health, wellbeing and arts sectors. We offered good quality learning and development services to support or showcase wellbeing and/or creativity, in London and beyond. We would like to thank our various valued clients, who were mostly public services, whether operating from within central and local government, the NHS and schools; or in private care, independent sector consulting and interim management, or community and third sector bodies." Kevin Skinner & Andy Rooney, 31/03/16.
