Kibera Pride is a fully registered non-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization founded on October 6th 2012 and later registered as NGO in Kenya on 26th February 2014 with a mandate to promote education and other basic needs to the orphans and most vulnerable children and to provide and facilitate social services and community development programs within Kibera slum.Kibera Pride is located in the slum of Kibera just outside of Nairobi city center in Kenya.Kibera Prides services are open to all, regardless of gender, religion or ethnicity as long as they are among the most vulnerable in the society. Kibera Pride has been focusing on providing education, food, shelter, clothing and other personal needs to the less privileged children. In addition to running a children's home Kibera Pride facilitates other community empowerment projects for both the youth and adults designed to empower and create a sustainable lifestyle for them to live well and reach their full potential. Key priorities are:1. Children's home2. Educational sponsorship3. Daycare program4. Women and youth empowerment program.
