The mission of Kids Runway for Research is to raise awareness and support for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders while providing childhood cancer survivors the opportunity to "shine".Kids Runway for Research is a non-profit organization with 501c3. The event is a fun-filled fashion show presenting clothing from local boutiques and modeled by pediatric cancer survivors most of whom have been treated at Nemours/ Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The show is held every September in conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from the show go directly to Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders specifically being donated to the childhood cancer research program.
