KidSport™ Greater Victoria was formed in 2002 and is one of approximately 20 chapters in B.C. We are part of Sport BC, the provincial federation for sport, and the National Sport Trust Fund which provides a charitable tax number for donation receipts. Through the very generous support of our sponsors and the work of our highly motivated volunteers we have become one of the most successful KidSport™ chapters in Canada.The KidSport™ Program has been created to help overcome financial obstacles preventing some young people from participating in organized sport. Greater Victoria KidSport™ identifies needs in the community, raises funds, and supports programs that create new opportunities for young people "So All Kids Can Play."
