She has owned her Healing Wellness Therapy, since 1986.Located in Quincy Center from 1997-2017, when the city of Quincy took over the building for part of the New Quincy center reconstruction.Now an old warehouse on Federal Avenue that was converted to a funky deco office suite space.Kim Purdy has a beautiful space to treat her literally thousands of clientele over the years.One thing about Kim Purdy is she never stops pushing forward in her studies and treatments.Strong and focused treatments that are far more than Body Work.Bodywork is the word used to describe somatic and soft tissue treatment, and Kim's specialties include Shiatsu, Tuina and Acupressure treatment, as well as years of study that includes Sotai, hands on Qi Qong, works with many hands on therapies, including Acupressure Facial treatment and Eastern and Western reflexology.The work can be gentle enough to treat a baby, yet powerful enough for the child to KNOW they have had am actual therapeutic session, different than simple relaxation, though the child will be very relaxed. The pressure is rarely ‘too much" for the adult, even the injured, though can go as deep as needed, my fingers are a strong, like a nail. Focused and sticking to the point!
