After decades of large-firm experience, the founding partners of Klatte, Budensiek & Young-Agriesti decided in early 2012 to launch KBY in Newport Beach, California, to create a service-based labor and employment law firm specifically for California employers. KBY Law serves Fortune 500 corporations—as well as small companies—by representing management interests in labor and employment matters throughout the state of California. We always work in your best interest, whatever it takes, offering a level of personalized service, efficiency, and value not found in larger law firms. We approach employment law in a unique way, representing many "firsts" in our profession — redefining client relationships, providing customized fee options, and approaching the practice of law itself differently. Unlike many firms, our attorneys are rewarded primarily on results and client service rather than billable hour numbers. Our attorneys come from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and almost half are women. We are passionate about diversity for one simple reason: It makes us better lawyers. For the same reason, KBY attorneys are actively involved in the legal profession and in our community. Our attorneys have served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association and numerous special committees of the Orange County Bar Association, as well as offering Pro Bono services on behalf of such organizations as Veterans Legal Institute and the Boys & Girls Club of Tustin.
