In the mission to heal, we subject the body to an immense variety of ingenious and shocking treatments. We cut, pull, and break skin and bone, to put them back together. We apply chemicals and poisons to control and eliminate disease. We radiate the body to discover its inner workings. Who came up with these ideas? Have they helped? What could we do better? Who will take the wheel and drive our medical future?Kos Med Media will educate and motivate the next generation of health care professionals by revealing our shared history and exposing the great potential in our medical future. First, Kos Med Media will develop a series of mini-documentaries, each focusing on the history and progress in a unique area of medicine. Topics will range from simple devices like sterile gauze and the scalpel, to complex behemoths like MRI machines and the structure of a modern hospital. These videos will be developed and distributed through digital media channels online.Second, a podcast hosted weekly gives voice to the latest generation of medical professionals. Each podcast will feature a guest from the local, national, or global health care community, providing them an opportunity to share their work, progress, and vision for our medical future. These podcasts will be distributed through self-branded online channels.By focusing not on technical training but stories that may motivate and inspire, Kos Med Media will develop entertainment with broad appeal. Our digital content will be distributed online, such that our message is not limited to a physical space or local geography.
