Welcome!We assure you that our history will surprise you as much as our products.Ladrillera La Ermita is a family business with more than 60 years of experience in the production and distribution of pressed brick in the city of Popayán.As a company, our brick tradition goes back to the founder, Dimas Paruma, who, instructed by Archbishop Juan del Valle, laid the parameters for the craftsmanship of this precious construction material in the Yanaconas farmhouse during the 20th century. Don Dimas was succeeded by his son, Álvaro Paruma, renowned artisan and potter of the region, who worked until 2004, inheriting his daughter and current owner, Alba Eugenia Paruma.
