LFO High School is located in the mountains of Northwest Georgia in Fort Oglethorpe in Catoosa County, Georgia. Fort Oglethorpe is approximately 15 miles southeast of Chattanooga, TN and 100 miles from Atlanta, GA. We are a Region 7AAAA school with approximately 1600 students. LFO High School is a Title 1 School.The LFO Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard Auxiliary has been performing during the half-time shows for LFO Warrior Football for over 50 years. The first Warrior band began with 25 members and has grown to more than 100 members.The LFO Band program has outstanding concert and jazz bands. These two bands consistently receive superior scores for their performances at GMEA Concert Festivals. The band members themselves are active participants in the Georgia All-State Bands, District Honor Bands and Solo & Ensemble Festivals. The concert bands will perform their pre-festival concerts in March and the year end concerts in May. We invite the community, our supporters, friends and families to come and enjoy the sounds of these two wonderful bands. watch our calendar for date and times of performances.
