Video Director Lazlo burst onto the scene with the first issue of DAP in 2007—an art, lifestyle, music and fashion DVD magazine curated, directed, and produced by Lazlo. DAP was an unprecedented publication, the first to be viewable on the video iPod. This innovative new media platform gave early spotlight to creatives like FAILE, Rocksmith Tokyo, The Cool Kids, Santogold, and Flosstradamus. With distribution through a global network of boutiques, DAP was embraced by tastemakers from the burgeoning streetwear community. Following the success of DAP, international brands like Adidas, Complex Magazine, LiveNation, and Jay-Z came calling to have Lazlo breathe his trademark perspective into their projects. Lazlo's first foray into music videos came with the now infamous "Tight Pants" video for fellow Brooklynites Ninjasonik. After three notorious Ninjasonik videos and a commission from Diplo for Mad Decent label artist Maluca, Lazlo is a trusted name within the larger creative community in which he lives and works. Lazlo recently directed an award-winning spec for Old Spice and is currently writing his first short film. Monitoring the ever-blurring line between music, fashion, art, and reality, Lazlo is there to keep it all in focus.
