MISSION STATEMENT With a focus on inclusion and diversity, our goal is to make the arts accessible to all segments of our population. What We Do We create environments to explore artistic expressions for emerging, established, local and guest artists with our dedicated artist studios and contemporary gallery. Our Museum Collection of Authentic African Art Exhibition inspires and informs the imagination and intellect. We are dedicated to provide artists opportunities for professional growth through seminars, classes and workshops. We nurture emerging artists through mentorship and support established artists with networking and exhibitions in our gallery and throughout in the community. We serve as advocates for the arts in public education, working with community organizations, students and art educators to enhance their curriculum offerings. Left of Center Art Gallery is an unique and vital alternative gallery whose vision is to inspire, educate, and engage with communities through the arts. We work to share the many ways in which the arts influence and enrich our lives. With a focus on diversity, our goal is to make the arts accessible to all segments of our population by providing a welcoming gallery environment with opportunities for interactions with artists as well as opportunities to personally experience the creative process.
