Legacy International Response (LIR) is a tax-exempt, non-profit NGO based in Southern Oregon. We are dedicated to providing assistance to underserved populations worldwide during disasters and throughout the recovery process. Legacy is currently developing volunteer emergency rapid response and mobile medical relief teams to deploy into the most devastated areas following disasters. Often these areas are overlooked or beyond the reach of larger organizations and so Legacy has made it their mission to provide these areas with immediate emergency medical relief and long term support through ongoing community health and education programs."It is our mission to leave a legacy wherever we respond by providing high quality rapid emergency medical relief, ongoing community health education, and above all, empowering others to become leaders and teachers in their own communities."LIR is funded entirely by private donations.
