Civic & Social Organization - Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, Israel
"Lev Kachol '' organization was launched in February 2022 with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Our mission is to support NGOs responding on the ground thereby greatly improving the provision of aid. Synchronization of aid is one of the biggest challenges currently facing organizations responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. This is a challenge with disaster management in general but there are a disproportionate number of orgs involved in this crisis. Inefficient distribution of resources, delayed response time, chaos - we've seen this first-hand and heard from countless others who are involved on the ground that this is a major point of weakness. In response to the ensuing humanitarian crisis and the multitude of organizations involved, we developed a technological platform that allows for rapid synchronization of aid and efficient distribution of resources. The platform deals with thousands of incoming requests for aid and channel them to those who can fulfill those needs The platform includes a "chatbot" feature and provides users with real-time assessment of needs and resources on the ground. Today with the push of a button we can connect those who need help with those who can answer these specific needs, under the monitoring of Lev Kachol's Command Center. We created one place where organizations, NGO's and government departments can easily communicates without barriers. Lev Kachol became one of Israel's major players in the rescuing missions, with more than 2,400 volunteers around the globe. Lev Kachol became a solution provider, utilizing creative approaches and cutting-edge technologies to support any aspect of humanitarian aid related to this war. Lev kachol is perhaps the only responder that is synchronizing humanitarian efforts across organizations, governmental departments and the commercial corporations across affected countries, and across types of aid.
