The LGBT Coalition is a volunteer-run nonprofit that seeks to strengthen and enhance the queer and allied youth community through education, outreach, empowerment and support. We have a number of programs and events that create safe and affirming spaces and opportunities for the queer youth community, including GSA Day, Youth Pride Prom, and our developing mentoring program.We are also working to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with other community organizations and service providers that have resources and support for queer youth in the effort of creating a diverse and robust network of support that youth can draw from. We envision a community that is an open, affirming and empowering space for queer youth and allies to excel academically, experience higher levels of personal growth, and develop as the next generation of leaders.
