Libby Memorial Library Details
The Old Orchard Beach Edith Belle Libby Memorial Library is located at the edge of Memorial Park on Staples Street. The library facility opened in 1956, and was made possible, in part, by a gift in the will of Frank Libby, former Town Selectman. It was his wish that the building be named in honor of his wife, Edith Belle Libby. The renovated and expanded Libby Memorial Library opened to the public April 28, 2015.
