LitART combines award winning books with creative, research-based, high-yield learning activities to increase student learning and achievement. Harvard University and the National Partnership for Quality Afterschool Learning at SEDL, said this about the LitART after school curriculum: 1. Many different components appeal to a variety of ages and learning styles. 2. Activities are created to increase reading and writing skills, as well as a love of an engagement with reading. 3. Presented in a game-like environment, so students do not realize that they learning so many key skills. 4. Curriculum is easy to follow and clearly laid out. 5. Training component is helpful; staff are able to build skills and improve at delivering LitART. 6.
