Education Management - Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
Lux Mundi Training (LMT) started in 2012 in Mitchell's Plain on the Cape Flats to address the disadvantages in these communities through education. LMT work closely with NGO's that want to have more permanent developmental influence in communities. The modern training facilities of LMT are accessible, situated within these disadvantaged areas. Because of the need for the training available through LMT, a second centre was open in Grassy Park in 2013.The needs of students to obtain a qualification that missed out on the opportunity for various reasons were identified. In 2014 Lux Mundi Training registered a NQF qualification with ETDP and became an accredited Service Provider to the MICT Seta. Apart from trainers, LMT has 6 registered Assessors and Moderators available. It is also in the strategy of Lux Mundi Training to be of service to businesses in executing their internal workplace skills development strategies as well as their social investment strategies empowering disadvantage communities through learning.
