Mafubo Mauritius is the Mauritian branch of the Fédération Mafubo Internationale founded in 2009 by Dr. Monique Mujawamariya. The Association aims to advocate and promote gender equality and equity; fight against all forms of discrimination and violence against women; educate and empower women and encourage women to accept and celebrate their womanhood; improve accessibility to general services i.e. health care services, social welfare, education and legal services; help women who are living in poverty, and act as a watch-person.Mafubo Mauritius's vision is to have a nation where all women are architects of their own lives.
