Maine Cyber Range Details
The Maine Cyber Range (MCR) is a hyper-realistic training and simulation center available to support cyber education and workforce development. The mission of the MCR is to enhance cybersecurity education by providing a hyper-realistic training and simulation environment. This mission extends to educating and supporting all Universities within the University of Maine System, colleges, municipalities, as well as public and private businesses, in Maine and across the United States. The MCR provides students and professionals with market-leading, commercially licensed security products allowing them to build their skills on how to best detect, stop, and remediate cybersecurity incidents; Skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. The MCR utilizes Cyberbit Range technology, NDG NetLab+ Environment, Custom Forensic Virtual Environment, and Red Vault Training Environment. We also have educational partnerships with CISCO Networking Academy, CompTIA, Palo Alto Cyber Academy, Red Hat Academy, Splunk, Test Out, and VMWare IT Academy. The range can be used for multiple purposes, especially Training, Readiness and Assessment.
