The fast fashion industry in Australia is devastating - with 600kg of clothes being thrown away every 10 minutes. And it really sucks when we continuously spend money on buying new clothes while still having a big pile of unwanted clothes sitting at home! MatchTee was founded by a group of university students who wished to be the catalyst for positive change in the fashion industry. Taking form of a mobile app, MatchTee allows users to swap unwanted clothes for new clothes. Users can list their clothes, swipe on clothes they like/dislike, match with other users based on mutual liking of each other's items and perform a swap at low cost.
