Matthijs van Dongen ('76) is freelance sales and sponsor manager in the Dutch media sector. In the last 16 years Matthijs worked for companies amongst MTV (VIACOM), SBS, SKY RADIO and Radio 538 (Talpa Network), RTL (Bertelsmann), and for a Dutch event company he was responsible for the sponsorships of The Color Run. With this wide variety of clients, he created a vast and broad network of advertisers, which he now uses in his roll as Manager Sponsorships for Asterion. Asterion is Netherlands biggest Esports team, playing in national and international leagues and tournaments.
