MCM Energy Lab Srl was founded as a spin-off from the Politecnico di Milano, by a group of teachers and researchers, with a vocation for entrepreneurship, and a solid and far-seeing industrial partner. Its mission is the development of a rational usage of energy in order to contain the environmental degradation process, reduce greenhouse effect emissions and allow sustainable economic development, giving young engineers the opportunity to express their potential. MCM stands at the frontier of applied research in the development of innovative power and control systems, which combine the computational capabilities of microcontrollers and the versatility of static converters. MCM Energy Lab is an engineering and consulting company that works in the field of applied research, helping its clients develop new systems and new products. Over the years, MCM has attained a wide range of competences, especially in power electronics and control devices in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and electrical drives. The services provided by MCM include system engineering, modeling, simulation and new product development, from design to prototype construction, and functional verification.
