Since its inception in 2002, Med X-Ray Sistemas Medicos Lda has been providing sales and service of medical equipment to both the public and private sector in Portugal.The company initially built its reputation for excellence largely in the imaging field as the exclusive distributor for Shimadzu equipment.Over the years the company has diversified, supplying a variety of premier-name systems and products: everything from x-ray equipment to accessories. The product range has also spread to include high quality consumables and Contrast agents from leading suppliers around the world.From the very beginning, we have focused on establishing an experienced engineering and sales base across Portugal to service both our existing clients as well as to establish new clientele for all our agencies. Our installed base of equipment has increased to in excess of 250 installations of general x-ray units.Med X-Ray also has an electro-medical and Contrast division supplying high end products from a world leading manufacturer.With the takeover of E-Z-EM by Bracco, the Cardio-Vascular (CVi) Injectors have become part of our product range along with CT and MRI Injectors.The company has a servicing and maintenance operation supported by a team of factory trained engineers who are based nationwide.
