Training in Mind is a social enterprise that provides training in the areas of mental health and wellbeing, a statutory Relevant Person's Representative (RPR) service, a mental health policy consultation scheme for organisations, and a Welsh language translations service for which we offer subsidised rates for charitable organisations. We also offer the ASIST course and hold the license for Mental Health First Aid (Wales).Profits raised through Training in Mind go to charitableorganisations, causes, and community groups, including Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind to sustain charitable work and services provided to the community.We are passionate in providing up-to-date, relevant, useful, and practical training and consultancy with regards to mental health and wellbeing. It is such a pressing and underfunded issue and it is not as prioritised as it should be currently within the UK.We believe that a proactive approach to mental health and wellbeing can help prevent, alleviate, and abate mental health issues - recurrent or otherwise - and seek to impart that knowledge as far, wide, and as accessibly to all; be those organisations, businesses, communities or individuals, as, with our many years' experience in the mental health industry, we've come to understand that mental unwellness affects us all; be that personally, a family member or a friend. What better way to help than to up-skill ourselves and learn practical tools to implement in the often difficult event of the suffering of emotional and mental distress of any kind.
