The Mental Health Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to proactively creating a discrimination-free society. We envision a world in which positive mental health and well-being is equally enjoyed by all. Our mission is to raise awareness of mental health issues through education, community and support, thereby reducing the stigma associated with mental health and behavioral conditions. Our community encompasses a broad umbrella of mental health related concerns including addiction, suicide prevention, resources for veterans and anti-bullying.We specialize in mental health awareness, education and support. Suicide prevention ranks among our top priorities because this issue touches everyone, not only those who suffer from a broad range of mental health conditions, but also their families and loved ones.We provide a deep wealth of resources to educate, inform, support and engage every member of our community. If you are reading this, you are a welcomed and supported member of our community. We have planned and implemented a variety of initiatives and events as a platform to change perceptions and broaden understanding of mental health conditions. As our community grows, these initiatives will expand. Some may occur online. Some may occur in your city. Some may occur simultaneously in various cities around the world, working in synchronicity. Our funding and resources go directly to mental health programs, initiatives, education and public awareness campaigns.
