Metope is an experienced, women-owned and led specialist listed property investment management company. Founded in 2005 in Cape Town as a niche manager focusing on alternative investments, the business has grown its client base and products, now offering both traditional investment management of listed property (including REITS) as well as direct property opportunities. Our clients include institutional, high net worth individuals and retail investors across a number of segregated mandates and Collective Investment Schemes. Metope has a 16+ year track record of delivering market-beating income and growth for pension funds. Our core objective is to generate income and create long-term wealth for our clients. We are active managers performing in-depth research in order to identify compelling investment opportunities across the real estate and infrastructure sectors. We aim to generate alpha by identifying companies which we believe offer sustainable, superior growth opportunities and/or a high- and defensive-income yield and we have a proven track record of delivering on this objective. As stewards of our clients' capital, we place a significant emphasis on the quality of potential investments, including the management team of investee companies, as well as the sustainability of the business model and income stream.
