To Promote Microenterprise and strengthen Enterprise Ecosystem in Bangladesh are the primary objectives that drive ICCO Cooperation, IPDC Finance, EMK Center, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Dhaka Tribune to take collaborative initiatives; launching the Mictoenterprise Summit 2019 being the first step! Microenterprises are key sources of growth and employment apart from ensuring significant dynamism and flexibility to meet ever-changing market demand and supply situations. Microenterprises act as the most cost-effective and worthwhile means of providing employment and injecting dynamism into industrial growth, both for poverty alleviation and for contribution to the GDP to establish resilient national economy. These enterprises also contribute to enhancing competition and entrepreneurship and promoting entrepreneurial talent, resilience, and flexibility which are important elements for confronting the uncertainties in the country's dynamic and rapidly changing economy.Microenterpeise Summit to be held on 5th December 2019 at Hotel Lakeshore, Gulshan, Dhaka will address prospects and challenges of Microenterprise in Bangladesh in general and will host plenary sessions on the thematic areas of Innovation, Financing, Inclusivity and Dynamics of Microenterprise in particular.
